Global NY State Trade Expansion Program (STEP)
Empire State Development's Global NY STEP program helps New York small businesses begin exporting, increase export value, and explore new trade opportunities. The official page says STEP 12 runs from September 30, 2024 to August 31, 2026, each company may receive a maximum combined award of up to $10,000 per funding period, and awards are first-come, first-served until funds are expended.
2026 Dairy Plus Program
The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) Office of Agricultural Resilience and Sustainability (OARS) 2026 Dairy Plus Program will award competitive grants to California dairy farms for the implementation of advanced manure management practices that address both methane emissions and nitrogen and salt surplus.
Galaxy Grants for Women and Minority Business Owners
Galaxy Grants is a small-business grant program from Hidden Star, a 501(c)(3), for women and minority business owners. The official page lists a current $2,500 grant, a free application, and an October 31, 2026 deadline.
NIH Parent STTR Grant (R41/R42)
The NIH Parent STTR Grant helps U.S. small business concerns partner with nonprofit research institutions to bring scientific innovations to market. The official Simpler Grants listing says the STTR program supports feasibility studies through later-stage R&D to develop a commercial product, identifies small businesses as eligible applicants, and closes April 5, 2027.
NIH, CDC and FDA Parent SBIR Grant (R43/R44)
The NIH, CDC and FDA Parent SBIR Grant supports U.S. small business concerns developing scientific innovations for the marketplace. The official NIH SEED page says NIH SBIR/STTR grant funding supports early-stage research and development, applications are accepted three times a year, and standard due dates are September 5, January 5, and April 5. The Simpler Grants listing identifies small businesses as eligible applicants and closes April 5, 2027.
SBIR/STTR Match Program
The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) are competitive federal grant programs that provide funding opportunities for small businesses to perform research and development (R&D) on technology of interest to federal agencies. Both projects provide funding to explore the potential of high-tech products and encourage commercialization of those products. This program would provide a state match to companies that have received awards through the SBIR and STTR grant programs.
NIH Phase IIB Strategic Breakthrough Award
The NIH Phase IIB Strategic Breakthrough Award bridges the funding gap between an NIH SBIR/STTR Phase II award and commercialization. The official Simpler Grants listing says only U.S. small business concerns that previously received an NIH SBIR or STTR Phase II award are eligible, identifies small businesses as eligible applicants, and closes April 5, 2029.
NIH SBIR/STTR Commercialization Readiness Pilot (CRP)
The NIH SBIR/STTR Commercialization Readiness Pilot supports later-stage commercialization for eligible small businesses with NIH small-business R&D projects. The official NIH SEED page lists the CRP Program among parent announcements, and the Simpler Grants listing identifies NIH as the agency, small-business-related SBIR/STTR commercialization readiness as the program, and an April 5, 2029 closing date.
NSF America's Seed Fund Project Pitch
NSF America's Seed Fund is the National Science Foundation's SBIR/STTR path for startups and small businesses with high-risk technological innovations and commercial potential. The official Project Pitch page says startups and entrepreneurs submit a Project Pitch first, and the Get Started page says eligible companies must be U.S. small businesses with fewer than 500 employees and at least 50% U.S. citizen or permanent-resident ownership.
NASA SBIR/STTR Phase I
NASA SBIR/STTR Phase I is the first-stage funding path for small businesses and STTR research-institution partners to establish scientific, technical, commercial merit and feasibility for NASA-relevant innovations. The official NASA page says 2026 Appendix A and Appendix B Phase I solicitations closed May 21, 2026, Phase I investment is up to $225,000, and the program is available to small businesses.
Florida Target Sector Trade Show Grants
SelectFlorida's Target Sector Trade Show Grants help Florida small to medium-sized companies increase export sales through overseas international trade shows. The official page says the grants are reimbursable, event-specific, and available to eligible manufacturers and select professional services providers in target sectors for SelectFlorida calendar trade shows.
Florida Export Marketing Plan Grants
SelectFlorida's Export Marketing Plan grant helps qualified Florida manufacturers and services providers develop a customized export marketing plan through the Florida SBDC Network. The official page says SelectFlorida pays $4,500 toward the plan while the grant recipient pays $500, and recommends applicants have five or more full-time employees and $500,000 to $10 million in annual sales.
Florida Quick Response Training Grant
CareerSource Florida's Quick Response Training grant helps new and expanding Florida companies fund customized training for new, full-time, permanent employees. The official page says Quick Response Training is available to new and expanding companies in Florida's business market, supports high-skill industries, and has $7.5 million allocated for the 2025/2026 program year.
Florida Incumbent Worker Training Grant
CareerSource Florida's Incumbent Worker Training grant reimburses Florida companies for continuing education and training for current full-time employees. The official page says the program focuses on small businesses and can reimburse up to 75 percent of pre-approved training costs, with most companies eligible for up to 50 percent and higher reimbursement available for certain small, rural, distressed-area, brownfield, or hub-zone employers.
New York Innovation Matching Grants Program
Empire State Development's NYSTAR Innovation Matching Grants Program provides matching funds for New York small businesses applying for or receiving federal SBIR/STTR awards. The official page says the program matches Phase I awards up to $100,000 and Phase II awards up to $200,000, capped at 50% of the federal award, and applicants must be New York small businesses with 100 or fewer employees.
Cartier Women's Initiative Regional Awards
The Cartier Women's Initiative Regional Awards support women-owned and women-led impact-driven for-profit businesses across sectors and geographies. The official page lists first-, second-, and third-place grant awards of $100,000, $60,000, and $30,000, plus fellowship support. Applications for the 2027 edition are closed, so GrantTrek tracks the program as a forecasted recurring opportunity for the next edition.
Global NY Grant Fund Program
Empire State Development's Global NY Grant Fund Program provides reimbursable grants to help New York State small and medium-sized businesses begin exporting or increase global exports. The official page says ESD provides grants of up to $25,000 to companies and reimburses up to 50% of total project costs for companies.
Wolf-Livestock Compensation Grant Program
Compensation program for California livestock producers with confirmed or probable gray wolf depredation. This is loss reimbursement, not business growth funding.
ETIP - Strategic Sectors Single Company Grant NOFO Posting
The ETIP Program aims to enhance employment opportunities for Illinois citizens by assisting Illinois employers in upgrading the technological skills of their workforce and introducing efficient business practices, allowing them to be more efficient and competitive and expand their market shares. The training and upgraded skills will help facilitate increases in employee earnings, future employment opportunities, and economic self-sufficiency.
NASA SBIR/STTR Phase II-Extended (II-E)
NASA Phase II-Extended (II-E) provides matching funding to eligible NASA SBIR/STTR/Ignite Phase II awardees with qualifying outside investment. NASA permits rolling submissions within each contract eligibility window. Applications after a cycle cutoff are considered in a later selection cycle.
Verizon Small Business Digital Ready 2026 Grants
Verizon Small Business Digital Ready offers free small-business courses, coaching, networking, and 2026 grant opportunities. The official page says applications for 2026 $10,000 grants are open and asks businesses to register to learn more.
IFundWomen Universal Grant Application
IFundWomen by Honeycomb Credit presents an official grant application page for startups, small businesses, founders, and entrepreneurs to apply for grants and be matched with funding opportunities.
Founders First CDC Pride Fund National Grant
Founders First CDC's Pride Fund is a national grant for LGBTQIA+ small businesses. The official page lists 20 grant packages totaling $20,000, with $1,000 micro-grants plus program access for eligible LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs.
WomensNet Amber Grant
WomensNet's official Amber Grant page says it awards a $10,000 Amber Grant each month, and one of the 12 monthly recipients receives an additional $25,000 Amber Grant.
Boundless Futures Foundation EmpowHer Grants
Boundless Futures Foundation's EmpowHer Grants support female entrepreneurs age 22 and older whose U.S.-registered businesses are operating solely in the United States, earning revenue, no more than five years old, and built around social impact. Applicants may request up to $50,000 in reimbursed business support, with multiple grant cycles per year.
Stephen L. Tadlock Veteran Business Grant
Founders First CDC's Stephen L. Tadlock Veteran Business Grant is a national program for veteran-led small businesses. The official page lists a $20,000 total fund, 20 finalists, $1,000 micro-grants plus program access, and says full applications open in September 2026 with pre-registration available now.
Warrior Rising Business Showers
Warrior Rising Business Showers are invitation-only pitch events for veteran founders, military spouses, and immediate family members. The official page says top finalists can receive non-dilutive grants from $2,000 to $150,000, with eligibility tied to Warrior University graduation and competitive selection.
NASE Growth Grants
The National Association for the Self-Employed offers Growth Grants worth up to $4,000 for NASE members' small business needs such as marketing, hiring, facilities, equipment, and training. Applications are accepted year-round and reviewed quarterly, but applicants must meet NASE membership requirements.
Freed Fellowship Monthly Small Business Grant
Freed Fellowship runs a monthly small-business grant program for US micro and small business owners. Each selected Freed Fellow receives a $500 no-strings-attached grant and is considered for a $2,500 year-end grant.
Ladies Who Launch Launch Program
The Ladies Who Launch Launch Program provides women and non-binary small business owners with a $10,000 cash grant, mentorship, and six months of education. The official page says the 2026 application window ran from February 17 to March 17, 2026 and lists eligibility for U.S. or U.S. territory for-profit consumer packaged goods businesses with $100,000 to $499,000 in annual gross revenue.
High Five Grant for Moms
The High Five Grant for Moms is a business grant competition for mothers who own revenue-generating for-profit businesses. The official page says applications open September 1-30, 2026, every finalist receives a grant check, and eligibility includes being a mom, owning at least half of a for-profit product or service business, revenue of $10,000 to $500,000 in the past 12 months, and U.S. headquarters.
Halstead Grant for Emerging Silver Jewelry Artists
The Halstead Grant is an annual business-development award for emerging silver jewelry artists. The official page confirms the 2026 program, a $7,500 cash grand prize plus a $1,000 Halstead gift card, finalist awards, and a May 1 annual deadline; the current 2026 cycle is already closed, so GrantTrek tracks it as a forecasted recurring opportunity.
Cost-Share for Federal Geothermal Energy Funding Opportunities

FoundHer is a six-month accelerator for Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, and Asian women founders in Hawai'i. The official site says the program includes a $20,000 non-dilutive grant and that 2026 applications are closed, with 2027 announcements expected through FoundHer's channels.
HerRise MicroGrant
The HerRise MicroGrant provides financial assistance to women entrepreneurs creating community-impact solutions and unable to secure small-business funding. The official application page says applications close on the last day of each month, winners are announced the following month, and applicants must be women-owned U.S.-registered businesses with less than $1 million in gross revenue.
Etsy Emergency Relief Fund at CERF+
Etsy and CERF+ provide disaster recovery grants for Etsy sellers whose businesses have been harmed by federally declared natural disasters. The official Etsy Advocacy page says eligible sellers must have experienced a federally declared natural disaster within the past year, have been active Etsy sellers for at least one year, and have Etsy accounts in good standing.
Jobber Grants
Jobber Grants supports home and commercial service businesses. The official page says the 2026 program awards $250,000 across 9 recipients, including one $100,000 grant, one $50,000 grant, two $25,000 grants, and five $10,000 grants. Applications for 2026 are now closed, so GrantTrek tracks this as a forecasted opportunity for future program updates.
CERF+ Get Ready Grants
CERF+ Get Ready Grants help craft artists safeguard studios, protect their practices, and prepare for emergencies. The official page says grants are up to $1,000, eligible applicants are craft artists age 18 or older who have lived and worked in the U.S. or U.S. Territories for the past two years, and the 2026/2027 Get Ready Grant cycle is coming soon.
